Diving Deep within!

In the process of looking inwards and exploring myself I realized (with the help of my loved ones) that deep down in me resides an artist (whom I mostly suppressed or ignored, thanks to the stereotypic and programmed way of life and esp the "modern education"). An artist who was craving to come out... By design, not by blind chance I am gifted with this. Now its time that I tame this beast... to have a very purposeful and  exemplary career.

This one was for a national level management fest CHRYSALIS '10 held annually at VJIM
The word Chrysalis means transformation of a butterfly from its cocoon.

This video inspired me to connect to the green theme

Chrysalis 2010

The Concept

For this one my source of inspiration was Nature (I was riding on a bike during spring with greenery and butterflies on either sides of the road (This reflects on the either sides of the bottom of the poster)).
The final poster which was widely advertised through Integrated Marketing Communications. We had Hoardings (20x20 feet x 4nos, ) and other communications collateral.

Chrysalis 2009

The Concept

Relating Business School to a launchpad. A station that can be utilized to get to the next level.  The Art work Illustrates a Butterfly which is ready to take off vertically... like a rocket on a launchpad (zoooom....!).

The blue butterfly in the black background with smoke all around it, the logo of this year's Chrysalis is the work of our most creative and hardworking teams i.e. the design committee which had only two members, Jyothish and Arun durga prasad. The butterfly and its color combination has captured the imaginations of not only the VJIM fraternity but also all the participants. All the marketing verticals of Chrysalis carried this logo creating a Visual Identity of our Brand 'Chrysalis’. The right way to start branding a Management fest!! Kudos to Jyothish and Arun. It will require a miracle to create a better logo for next edition of Chrysalis!!
The poster reflects the  patience , passion and creativity with which  these two guys worked.

Believe us, he literally plays with the Photoshop and can create wonders with it. He very clearly made our posters appear more special and attractive. In spite of his busy schedule, he still managed time to work with us and do his best for his team. We never thought that this lean guy would have so much of potential in him. Every second hour, he use to run to us with laptop in his hands showing his ideas and asking for feedback…We can confidently say that this tech savvy is definitely an asset for our team.
Arun……we are really enjoying your company and would like to wish all the best for your future.

This one was for Udhyathi, a national level management fest held annually at PIM. They liked it so much that they decided to continue this Title design (I call it young minds stretching their wings) for years to come.

Thank you very much for your kind participation and encouragement. I hope you enjoyed the ride!

  3. Great job, Arun. You have really hit the nail on the head with this one. The entire conceptualization is very nice. The Center Stage is the stand out. It is really attractive. The brochures also have a good blend of colours.

I am sure you will be able to reproduce this magical effect for all your clients. Good luck with that....
